Leaside Library.

This library, located at the North end of Trace Manes Park, opened its doors on March 8, 1950. Today the building is a perfect place for research and has been equipped with the latest internet access for access to all other branches of the Toronto Public library system

Lea House

The most famous house in Leaside is located at 201 Sutherland Drive. This was James Lea's house and it was built in 1909. What is so interesting, is that the back of the house faces Sutherland drive. This was because back in 1909 it was built to see a street that no longer exists. You can't miss the house; it is the only one that looks out of place.

Leaside Hockey Association

Leaside Hockey Association, the Leaside Skating Club, the Leaside Girls Hockey Association and many other groups. The important feature of the Leaside Memorial Gardens is the Lea Room. This is a beautiful banquet hall laced with maple wood flooring. For years, weddings, receptions, dances, rock shows, sport card shows, sport celebities autograph sessions, antique furniture, rug sales, and auctions have occupied this room.

Leaside Memorial Gardens

Leaside Memorial Gardens opened its doors in 1951 at the intersection of Millwood and Laird Drive. This community center has been a model for others and it still sticks to its goal of maintaining a clean and safe recreational facility for the community.

Serena Gundy Park

Serena Gundy Park is located of Rykert Crescent in North Leaside. If you are looking for a long bike trail or "in the wood" hiking paths, than Serena Gundy Park should be your number one choice.

Serena Gundy Park

Serena Gundy Park. Serena Gundy owned this land and populated it with beautiful gardens. She loved this area very much and was more than happy to donate it to the city before she passed away on March 8, 1960. To this day many residents of Leaside and abroad have come to enjoy this lovely park. People that were close to Serena say she would have wanted this way.
