| Another
park that has history behind its name is Trace Manes
Park. This park was originally named Millwood Park
but was changed to its present name in 1950. Trace Manes
was a former Mayor of Leaside from 1948 to 1950. Within
this park you will discover baseball fields and a playground
that was the first to be built in Leaside back in 1940.
Later in 1949, the Lions Club built Leaside's Tennis
club at this location. |

Today,
located at Millwood and Rumsey, Trace Manes Park
is still the favorite of residents in the Leaside community.
